Christmas is finished, hoorah

It's over and it's been the BEST EVER.  We got to see all of our children with the exception of Lynn, who we missed. (but we got to see her a couple of weeks ago and we'll get to see her in a couple more weeks)  The kids and Mom and Dad all got along really well.  The grandparents did good too.  Of course grandbaby Rhone was perfect. (People getting along really make for a nice holiday, I don't enjoy drama)  But the best gift of all was the announcement that Jade after three years of desiring to have a baby is now pregnant.  I cried.  We are all so blessed this year.  Thank you all for the thoughtful and wonderful presents you gave me but most of all thank you for taking the time to share yourselves this season.

The greatest gift of the season of course is the atonement of our Savior.  Thank you Heavenly Father for all our blessings in this wonderful life and for sending your Son to teach and save us.  I love You and hope to see you again at the end of my mortal probation.

Life is good and I'll diet next week.

The guests are beginning to arrive

Annie and her boyfriend Richard arrived last night from Mesa and Amber and her husband Khris arrived this morning from Augusta Georgia after driving all day yesterday and last night.  Jade and Ryan are in Phoenix for their 4th anniversary and we now have 4 dogs in our back yard.  Kelene is still recovering from having her wisdom teeth removed Saturday and looks like a bruised chipmunk.

Kelene, Annie and Richard are playing Magic cards in the TV room and Amber and Khris are out cold trying to recover the sleep they lost from driving all night.

I still need to pick up toothbrushes for Christmas and a few extra pillows.  I can't wait for Christmas when we'll see most of our family.  I love the holidays.

I'm joining the ranks of bloggers

Wow, this will be a great thing to do when I don't want to do my chores.  Christmas is coming and except for one persons gift I am ready.  Life is good!  I love my new home (though I wish we didn't need to replace the sewer line right now) my ward is great and I really enjoy Ken working again.  (So does he)

Merry Christmas everyone.

P.S. While crazy is good I'm not near as entertaining as my children.
